Admission to UG Degree Courses

Admission to B.Tech Degree Courses

Eligibility for the first year B.Tech., Courses

(i)          A pass in H.Sc., / Pre Degree with a minimum of 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

(ii)         A pass in H.Sc., Academic / Vocational for SC / ST/ OBC candidates.

Number of Attempts      

        Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination with a maximum of TWO attempts for GENERAL and THREE attempts for SC / ST.

Improvement Marks

        Candidates may also seek admission with marks scored in the FIRST improvement examination.

Entrance Examination

        Candidates should have written the Common Entrance Test conducted by CETPPEC (or) Registered Association of Self-Financing Engineering College.

Age Limit

        The upper age limit is 21 years (relaxable by THREE years for SC / ST candidates)

Direct II year Lateral Entry Admission

        2nd year B.Tech., (Lateral Entry) for Diploma holders.

Eligibility for Admission

        Candidates who have secured 60% marks in aggregate in the 2nd & 3rd year (from 3rd Semester to 6th Semester) Diploma Courses are eligible. The upper age limit is 24 years for SC / ST candidates)

Admission to PG Degree Courses

Master of Computer Applications MCA

        Candidates who have passed and secured 55% of marks or above in Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications/ Commerce/ Corporate Secretaryship/ Economics/ Business Administration with Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Statistics/Computer Application as one of the subjects or Bachelor’s degree in Science with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects are eligible to apply.

Entrance Examination

Candidates should have written the Common Entrance Test conducted by CETPPEC or Registered Associations of Self-Financing Engineering Colleges.

Master of Business Administration MBA

Candidates who have passed any degree and secured 50% of marks in UG Degree can apply.

Entrance Examination

Candidates should have written the Entrance Test conducted by CAT (or) MAT (or) Registered Associations of Self-Financing Engineering Colleges.
